General:

Is this the same as the Travel Club?
No. Membership focuses on professional development, philanthropy, and community. The Travel Club is a separate travel add-on.

 

Can I upgrade tiers later?
Yes. Members can upgrade at any time.

 

Do I have to attend events?
No. Membership provides access and opportunity—you choose your level of participation.

 

Can Virtual members attend in-person events?
Yes. Virtual members are welcome to attend in-person events at a discounted rate.

Membership:

​When does my membership begin and end?

The Elevate Collective operates on a calendar membership year, running from January 1 through December 31.

Regardless of when you join during the year, your membership will conclude on December 31 of that same calendar year.

 

What happens if I join mid-year?

Members who join after January 1 Annual fee will be prorated and will still receive full access to membership benefits through December 31. Because the Collective operates on a shared annual cycle of programming, events, and experiences, all memberships align with the calendar year.

 

Will my membership automatically renew?

Yes. Memberships are set to renew for the upcoming calendar year unless canceled prior to the renewal date. Renewal reminders will be sent in advance.

 

Why does the membership follow a calendar year?

The Elevate Collective’s programming, travel experiences, philanthropy initiatives, and quarterly Elevate Boxes are planned on an annual cycle. A calendar-year membership ensures all members participate in the same experiences together.

 

Can I upgrade my membership tier during the year?

Yes. Members may upgrade to a higher tier at any time. The new tier benefits will apply immediately for the remainder of the calendar year.

 

Can I downgrade my membership during the year?

Downgrades take effect at the start of the next calendar year. This ensures consistency in benefits and planning for the current year.

 

Does the Travel Club follow the same membership year?

Yes.

 

Payments:

How do the annual fee and monthly payments work?

Each membership tier includes an annual fee and a monthly membership due. The annual fee is paid at enrollment, and monthly dues begin immediately after. Monthly dues are processed through automatic recurring payments (auto-pay) for the duration of the membership year.

Are monthly payments required to be on auto-pay?

Yes. All monthly membership dues are required to be set up on automatic payment at the time of enrollment to ensure uninterrupted membership access.

 

What happens if my monthly payment fails?

If a monthly payment is unsuccessful:

  • Your membership will become temporarily inactive after one failed payment

  • You will receive an invoice to resolve the past due balance

During this time, access to member benefits may be paused.

 

What happens if I miss two monthly payments?

If two monthly payments become delinquent:

  • Your membership will be considered void for the remainder of the membership year

  • You will be required to reapply for membership during the next calendar membership cycle

This policy ensures fairness and consistency for all members of the Collective.

 

Can I switch from monthly payments to paying in full?

Yes. Members may pay the remaining balance of their monthly dues at any time to remain in good standing.

What is the annual membership fee for?

The annual membership fee supports the operational foundation of The Elevate Collective and helps fund the quality of the member experience.

  • Your Welcome Gift (TEC Notebook, Planner, Pen, and materials)

  • Platform and community management

  • Planning and coordination of programming, events, and initiatives

  • Quarterly Elevate Box preparation and logistics (for applicable tiers)

This fee ensures that the Collective can deliver a consistent, elevated experience for all members throughout the year.

 

Is the annual fee required every year?

Yes. The annual fee is due each calendar membership year for all active members.

 

When is the annual fee due?

An invoice for the upcoming membership year will be sent on December 1 of the prior year.

Payment is due no later than January 31 of the new membership year, unless you are enrolled in an approved installment plan.

 

Can the annual fee be paid in installments?

Yes. Members may choose to pay the annual fee through an installment plan. Installment details will be provided with the December invoice.

 

What happens if the annual fee is not paid by January 31?

Members who do not pay the annual fee or enroll in an installment plan by January 31 may have their membership placed on hold until payment arrangements are made.

 

Is the annual fee separate from monthly dues?

Yes. The annual fee and monthly dues serve different purposes:

  • Annual Fee – Supports operations, onboarding, materials, and member experience

  • Monthly Dues – Support ongoing programming, events, and member engagement throughout the year
